GSX 450cc Injectors fit on a B seris motor???
would stock gsx 450cc injectors fit on a b16 without having to do any custom work and will i be able to tune them if a have a V-AFC????
Yes and yes. The injectors are the same mouting style, get yourself a new set of o-rings for them and pop 'em in. Use the AFC to tune them down a bit and you should be good.
for a non-obd honda(low impedance injector) get the 89-94 turbo eclipse injectors, for the 92+ hondas, use the 95+ eclipse injectors. btw, auto injectors are 350, manuals are 450.
All turbo dsm injectors are low impedance. You have to have a resistor pack for them if your car doesn't use low impedance injectors from the factory.
would you need a resister pack if you put them on a b16 beacause a thought all b seris motors need saturated injectors?????

lets go back to the first question, will the vafc be able to tune the injectors down enough so you wont run hella rich??? i heard that the vafc can only do so much and that the 450 are way to much for a NA setup. Also the injectors dont just pop right in, they are a bit shorter. I think that you have to shave some off the rubber grommets that sit inbetween the intake manifold and the fuelrail mounting studs. Please dont answer the vafc question unless you know for sure ...just dont take a guess at it. thanx

what???? gtcali and jared this question is for you guys.... have you guys personally tuned down some 450cc with a vafc? Jared has stated he has, but here is another good question. Was it on a allmotor engine, or a turbo engne...because it may seem possible to tune it down on a FI motor because it needs way more fuel that just a NA motor. I will give you a NA motor for example..... a crvtec with 11.1 compression. Now the ideal injectors would be 310cc, but would the vafc be able to tune down 450cc to make the engine perform its best??? thanx for the reply's, im sure this is helping all those peeps on a budget.

I'm pretty sure they are 450cc from everything I've ever read.. But that's not worth arguing about especially since I could be wrong.
You should be able to pick up a set of 450cc injectors from a DSM at either www.thepartstrader.com or www.dsmtrader.com. The 450's have to be upgraded when you put a larger turbo on a DSM so there are plenty of guys out there getting rid of their stockers cheap.

Yes.....you will be able to tune those down....However...they are way over kill for a NA car. Trust me. We ran 440 RC's with a s-afc and tuned it fine...but we only went with that big of injector to run 15psi. On a NA car, I would run anything higher than a 310cc. Most people run 270cc injectors on NA cars and the higher compression people are running 310cc. So to answer your question...yes you can tune it down....but it wont run like you want it.
