how does it bolt up exactly?
depending on what year your car is, it might need a third brake light. they wouldn't give me the paperwork/stamp.

Every car since sometime in the early 80's has had them because of a federal law. For the same reason that you're not allowed to remove your catalytic convertor, even though 75-year-old antique cars don't have them, you're also not allowed to remove your 3rd light.
Also, research has proven that the 3rd brake light greatly reduces rear-ending accidents; that's why they were mandated. Do you really want whiplash?
If your GS-R has two holes in the bottom part of the rear window glass with metal plugs in them, it should be easy to install an RS/LS 3rd light. There's probably loads of people who've installed spoilers who'd be happy to sell you theirs.

do i want whiplash? no. that's why i want to install a custom third brake light in the absence of the one on my spoiler.

My whiplash comment was in response to Civiksiracer's comment which questioned the need for them.
Try the team-integra.net classifieds forum. I just saw a post there today advertising a 3rd light (along with a lot of other stuff). Also look for people parting out cars. You could also try posting a "WTB:" message there.

I replaced my gsr wing with a type-r wing a little over a year ago and didn't bother with the brake light. Too expensive and too much work. As long as the main two light work most people don't care. Unless you have inspections that actually look for that sort of thing where you live. Bear in mind, down here in good ol' GA we don't get hassled too much. The StUnNa count is fairly low where I live.

lucky you.
i would like to have it for safety anyways, my car is low and a raised chevy might not see me slamming on brakes.
