Seems like i have a problem every week with my ride.....haha, well this weeks mystery sound only occurs from 20mph and less. it sounds like someone is dying inside my wheel well. like....a small kid is burning...or something. anyway, it sounds like something metal got stuck somewhere up there. the sound is hitting something that is moving, maybe my driveshaft or something?. because the sound rolls like...shank shank shank shank with the speed of my car. weird thing is, once speed is increased the sound stops. ive looked once a while back the first and only other time it occured but when it stopped and i didnt find anything, i didnt think anything of it. car drives fine. havent had any other major problems until it occured again tonight. want to figure out whats wrong. thanks for any input.

it sound to me as if the hub bearing is gone..you might wnna takea look at that..
or the that thing might be your rotor are misalign..ot the brake pad is worn...but the sound of a brake pad going out is kinda easy to notice..these are some of the symptoms that you might have..also it caould be that your outter CV boot is dry up..but in this caseu you would hear a clicking noise when turning and that you axle could be snapping anytime soon...
so try to check out all these problem..

 

oh, sorry, its a 99 em1, im gonna take it to honda on mon and have them check it out. but it seems like it only occurs after i randomly hit a bump. i have no clue. because it goes away after awhile.

 

It might be a belt thing.. my friends VW makes a crazy screeching noise because of the belts.. when his hub bearing went out it sounded like a droning noise that only got worst with the speed.

 

same **** is happening to my car... happens from 20mph and below (only happens everyonce in a while).....

My car is making noises from the back*& front

I think: it might be cause my car is lowered and I have never had it aligned & no camber kit

o well.... Let me know if u guys know what it is
