I need help. anyone give me some info on the engine in my honda prelude i just purchased the car to make a few bucks off of. the engine block says a18. i was wondering if heads from a d16 would fit onto the bottom end 1.8 block. Also would the lower control arms in the front, just the pivot on the bottom fit from an accord or integra ofthe same year?

 

is that a 1.8 carbureted prelude, or the 2.0 fi prelude si?

if you have the carbureted engine, you are pretty much out of luck. there really aren't any parts that will fit on that engine. you will just have to modify what you have on there already, or get the 2.0 liter engine and drop it in there (and the changes that are needed to go with it). i have tried to adapt many things to mine and i haven't found anything to work yet - not even other prelude engine parts from the 2.0's will fit.
