Yeah, that was the main reason why I decided to do the H22 swap. Kill two birds with one stone.
Don't forget to get your water pump changed while you are at it.

Yes, that along with the water pump will be changed. I will also convert my H22 to a manual timing belt tensioner. I am having the piston rings and possibly the main and rod bearings changed too. I am trying to do it right the first time.

I was hoping to get the H22 swap before I had to get my clutch changed on my current H23. It was preventing me from driving it so I had to change it. That would have been another $700 that I didn't have to waste. Oh well, at least i got to see how the H23 performs on the track for one season. There was one turn that I couldn't go faster because I had to drive though it at redline. The H22 will be nice since I will have an extra 1000 rpms to play with and more HP.
