Hi all,

I am having a problem with my 93 Lude. She has a 93 JDM H22a swap. sometimes when I hit a bump or when I have a hard launch, a check engine light comes on.

After the light comes on the car runs rough up to 6,000 RPM then doesn't go any higher on the RPMs. It also idles rough too. My VTEC usually kicks in at 6,000 RPM.

Could this be the VTEC solonoid since my RPM's are being limited at 6g? If so, where is this located and how can I check to see if this is my problem, where does the harness connect into the VTEC solonoid?

I've tried shaking the wiring harness every possible place I can think of to recreate the check engine light but it never triggers it. Only happens on bumps or hard launches.
