This question's probably been asked many times, but oh well. For those who got custom paint jobs, how much did you guys pay? Where'd you guys get it done? Also, were your door jams, trunks, engine bay, etc painted as well? If possible, post pictures! Thanks! ^_^

 

i'm getting custom paint and my gf already has customer paint on her car
we both got it from the same place, her dad
he's doing mine in exchange for helping him with building his house

damn good trade i think

he just did a 00 Si in Kawasaki green too, complete car painted

 

That involves removing everything from the shell of the car right?
- Engine / Tranny
- All Wiring
- All interior
- Fender linings
- Little things like the Antenna

How long does the process take? Did he manage to ge rid of that Orange peel effect that Honda paint has?

I need to find a place that will do exactly that. I want the car painted and I mean the whole car, engine bay, door jams, even my spare tire well but prices in VA are an arm, a leg, and your upper torso.

 

it took him a while to do it, he kind of procrastinated though
he also shaved the molding and handles

yeah, it was completely taken apart, but the owner did it then brought it to him to get it painted


not sure on price, most of it was a trade deal
