00 civic heater core removal question
Just wondering if you need to remove the hole dash to pull this out ? I thought you didn't but I was reading a manual and it says you do. When I turn on the heat it makes a squealing sound, so I'm thinking there is something in there. Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

there is no way around it. the heater core box is too large to be able to do that. listen where the sound is coming from, might just be something else. if you decide to pull it out yourself check out my climate conversion how to but still shows everything u need to do.

taking it out is a pain, make sure you get the nut thats holding it on in the engine bay. if your not careful you'll probably damage the metal the hoses clamp to
