Advice/Suggestions Needed - Rear rotor problem & dealership
Last weekend I took my GS-R in for state inspection. The Acura dealership would not pass my car because the rear rotors were warped/didn't pass state safety. Because my car inspection runs out at the end of Decemeber, and with the holidays just around the corner, I didn't have the time to research another opinion with a mechanic. Therefore, I agreed to have my rear rotors resurfaced to the tune of $200.
It's now been a week later and I notice a squeal coming from the rear of the car (brake area) when I ride over rough surface. This noise gets increasingly loud as I apply the brakes. I called the Acura dealership and told them about my problem and they agreed to look at my car next saturday (free of course).
What do you suggest I do about the problem if its related to the rear brakes and they are unwilling to cover the parts/labor? The car was not making any strange, mechanical noises from the rear of the car previous to them resurfacing my rear rotors. Might you have a suggestion as to what the problem is?
I'm not at all pleased with this Acura service center, and unless they deal the problem they potentially created, I will not be returning ever again. Thanks in advance for your time, advice and suggestions.
