From the statement above i can tell you this

1)you got some cheap *** sleeve over spring

2)the billet bullshit is just another marketing name, do you really think they guy selling those would know what the heck is it?

post a link or a picture of the actual item, we'll start from there.

honestly i dont see why they would be needed. doesn't the top hat on a stock shock serve the same purpose? correct me if i'm wrong. i wouldn't advise not installing them the way they are designed to be, but it doesnt seem absolutely necessary if you cant locate the part.

more to the point, i have no idea where'd you would get the part by itself. contact the manufacturer.

I was thinking the same but I havent tried using the stock top hat yet. Wouldnt the stock top hat be too big for it? Would it be safe using the stock top hat even IF it did fit???

actually that aluminum top hat is not really necessary. the skunks never came with any. although i did order some top hats from ground control. they just help keep the spring aligned better. if you dont have em, it'll just make clanking sounds when you take turns fast because of the body roll and droop of the suspension. thats a common problem/pita with sleeve coilover kits. one solution is to get helper springs which i think aerospeed makes some. i dont know the quality but honestly i dont think it will be that great. another solution would be to get a shorter shaft shock such as the tanabe sustec shocks or those cheaper drop zone shocks (not recommended). if you can, just return those and get some koni yellows because they have the adjustable perch as well and some eibach or h&r springs. that will probably give you the best comfort as well as quality performance without going into a full bore coilover kit. good luck
