Default 92-96 Prelude Best exhaust

what is a good exhaust for this generation prelude? i want to get one for her but i do not know which one is good. i do not have much experience with preludes except for tryin to cram my hands down in the engine bay to change a balance shaft seal... (at the time i did not know that a balance shaft existed) so... im pretty new to preludes...

thanks

performance and sound wise... i say mugen, but its going to be hard to find since its discontinued. i heard smsp suppose to make one, but its going to cost you and i dont know when its gonna be out. if youre looking for something cheaper, go with the greddy.

You have to be more specific in what you're looking for - Example: the biggest HP gain, will be the loudest (ie. N1), the quietest (Apexi WS, RSR) will have minimal gains. Also, do you car about the size of the tip? Etc. Do a search & you'll find tons of info.....

i just dont like the cherry bomb lookin muffler that i see on alot of preludes.... i had an apex n1 on my civic. i think it would be way to loud. so probably apex ws just because with apexi the quality seems to be there...

thanks for your input.

well, think of this, a straight flow design with no or little restriction(less bent, smoother bent, resonator/mufflering material) would give you the best power, but freeing up the back pressure would result in a LOUD exhaust.

apexi WS is quiet because it got a long *** resonator, and the shiny muffler part is another resonator itself. it give you less power over N1 but i would pick it simply because it's quieter and more classy looking compare to n1 IMHO
and it's for HER, so i dont want every riceboy in the hood to rev up on her..i guess
ws is 50state legal if I am remember right, socal cops

I would look for a used set, cant really justisfy spend that much money and have such low output in term of power.

I have a 2.5 custem bent piping w/ 22inch resonator and apexi RS muffler, pretty quiet until WOT and Vtec
