Default Fontana 1/4 mile times (post HERE).....sept. 22

Sup guys..Today was first time at the track with the R at the california speedway. IMO the track is pretty decent. Never really been to others but it was lots of fun therefore I like the track. I met a couple R owners here and thats what made it alot offun. Well here is the best run I had for the day out of 4 runs. I can't seem to get good reaction times.. I just don't know what I'm really doing I guess, it keeps on getting worst every run. Let me know what you guys think, i don't really know the exact elevation but its 1000 something.

r/t .873

60ft 2.457

330ft 6.414

1/8 9.694

mph 74.42

1000ft 12.526

1/4 14.920

mph 94.99

i think that was the only R that didn't get talk with anyone. We saw him for a couple of minutes, but never got a chance to talk to him because we left for another run.

BTW Does anyone know of anysites where I can get an exact quarter mile time for sea leveL?

i was the one with jdm front.. i think that track was pretty cool.. ref's were pretty nice and it seemed to be a good turnout.. track is much cleaner then palmdale or carlsbad.. and you can get many more runs at fontana that you would at the other tracks.. i was in line by 4:30 though..

anyhow about the results.. pretty sad.. its called i need to learn how to drive! my reaction time is very decent along with 60 foot but they could always be better.. from 4 runs i did the conclusion is that i shift like a grandma from gear to gear.. i thinks its beacuse i dont want to misshift by accident so i make sure i'm in gear before going into each one.. ran consisten 15.6 which is totally sad.. i thought that something was wrong with my car since tjtroung had an almost identical set up and he was doing like 14.9.. just kills me once we are about to get into 3rd gear.. so i let him drive my car and i drove his.. of course my shitty driving yields another sad 15.6 and he does 15 flat in mine with a .98XX reaction time! heheheh hey at least i know that the car is running great and i need to go more often to the track and practive my driving skills.

overall i'm happy that the car is doing good
