My Turbo R (PICS)
Some people have asked for pics, so here you go:
IC: no bumpers were harmed during the installation of this ic.
Garret GT25R and Tial WG, Kinetic Motorsport cast mani (the leak will be fixed tomorrow.)
Engine bay
WG dumps to atmosphere for now, I have a feeling I'll tire of the noise and tie it in later.
Intake arm and tial BOV
My favorite: 3" tip to match the 3" exhaust:
I couldn't take pics of the beautiful exhaust work, or the IC piping unfortunatly. Both are beautiful, Shawn at Kinetic was meticuleous. The only part of my car that had to be cut was about 8" of the splash gaurd to accomidate the IC inlet pipe. All the piping is beautiful stainless steel.
I'm running at 6.5 lbs right now. The car pulls real hard, with no grip anywhere in 2nd on dry pavement. I have to re-learn how to drive it. At the track I'll run 4.5 lbs for now. Hopefully the engine stays together and I can keep it off the wall.

The wastegate I would run under the car so you don't smell the stinky..... But don't tie it into your exhaust, as it can give you a little less power (from what I understand).
The power looks good. Have you played with 8-12psi? And have you tried tuning the cam gears at all?
Also, what are the dimension/ brand of the intercooler?
As you can see, I'm very interested in your setup - as I am planning a build very similar in the future.
LET ME DRIVE!!!

The as long as the wastegate dump is tied in at the cat no powerloss will occur. I havn't played with any of the tuning, I'm leaving that to my mechanic at Kinetic. I'm only running a fuel controller right now that doesn't read boost(split second), so it'll stay at 6.5 lbs until I can control fuel and timing over different boost levels (looking at greddy emanage). Idealy I'd like to run 10psi at the track, but I think sleaves and pistons have to happen first.
I'm not sure of the make of the IC, but I can find out.

Feels. Real ugly, but it works wonders at getting rid of high speed braking "wiggle".

Fix your ground strap

I thought they put it back in the wrong place, but I couldn't remember. I even searched here and couldn't find the proper location. Goes to the cover stud, right?
