ok so my alarm was sorta fucked sat night and i was 2 hrs away from home and a friends house and it was in 2 the morining

anyway i broke into my own car and my dumb *** cut both wires at once on each of my sierns.

so im pretty sure i short them since my alarm still arms/disarms

anyway to test to see if i short them before i go buy a couple new sierns?

 

well there should be a inline fuse between the siren and the brain? i dont see why there wouldnt be but check to see if it just blew a fuse,

there are 2 wires to the siren,a black and a red.touch the red to the positive side of your battery,and the black to the neg.if you hear the siren,it still works,if not-into the trash and new siren time.

 

I dont think you hurt the sirens. You may have burned up the siren driver inside the alarm
