Help on 95 Accord! Car won't start, is it starter?
Couple of days ago, when I turn the key the car makes a "click" noise but won't crank, I have to turn it a couple of times before it starts cranking.. Since yesterday when I turn the key I don't even hear the "click" no more, feels like my ignition has been cut... I checked the alarm, wiring, everything... Nothing's loose or cut... With my remote starter I can still hear the "click" but it won't turn over or crank... Anyone knows if I need a new starter?
Well if that's the case, should I install one myself? I looked online and carparts.com sells them for around $200, while dealers sell it for $50 more... and Pepboys or dealers want around $400 to have it replaced... Anyone has replaced a starter themselves before and able to offer some tips? Thanks!

That click you heard should have meant the seloniod was working but not the starter motor itself. Sounds like new starter time.
that has happened to me before when working on the car. Have the batterey checked first, and the conections to the batterey, I have driven to the store and have had the terimanls come loose on the way and the car would not start back up.

The thing that causes the selonoid to work, but not the entire starter is usually just a battery problem.
