Default help from people with ek9 spoiler

my oem ek9 spoiler came few days ago but not sure if i should paint the black support bit (got a few marks on it that could do with coverin up). what do ya guys reckon ?

if its any help my car's silver. spoiler is white but at the moment im thinkin of gettin whole thing sprayed to match my car.

dont know wtf the score is with black bit. dunno if its paint or just the whatever its made of comes that color.

I would leave the base (flat) black (touch it up or repaint it) & take off the actual wing from the base & have that color matched to your car. OEM looks IMO

As I recall from when I installed mine, the black is like a sponge for cushion between the spoiler and the trunk. By the time you torque that baby down, you will not even see it.

ill give it a test fit tommorow. is it just 2 bolts that hold oem in place + unplug brake light ?
