Default A new RSX?

i was at Acura one day this week to see how much it would cost for them to put my GM syncromesh tranny fluid and i park next to this RSX-S. I get out and take a look at it and i see RSX-S A-spec on the back. it had some 16 inch 8 spoke Acura gunmetal rims but all i know is does the A-spec mean anything? Any upgrades under the hood? Did Acura make a production car better than the type R wit this new RSX-S A-spec?

A Spec is rebadged Acura Factory Performance. They wanted to differentiate themselves from the Honda Factory Performance. Same ish different name. Check out the TL A-Spec. Supposedly the body kit actually works:

***A Spec***

Yea looks like the DC5R body kit, possibly DC5R suspension pieces and bigger wheels/tires. Looks nice... too bad they didnt vamp up the motor/tranny.

How much are they gonna charge you and also where did you get that GM syncromesh tranny fluid from?

The body kit is the regular OEM optional acura kit. The only thing Type R is the rear wing.

Well the aspec package is worthless. The only thing that is from the DC5R is the wing, which is poinless.

With the Aspec package you get
-DC5R wing
-Track tuned ( LOL) suspension
-Better tires ( anything is better then the stock michellens)
-17 inch alloy rims
-Titanium trim package ( interior)
-Oem Body kit
-Aspec badge.
- Aftermarket shift ****
All for a hefty price of $4,000.oo + tax
Plus another $2,000.00 for the install which must be done by them. So for $6,000.00+ You get a "pretty" car with no more performance then the type S.

Play it smart and buy all the aftermarket stuff yourself. Instead of getting raped for $6,000.00 + on the Aspec crap do this:

- Tein Flex = $2,000.00
- Cat back Exhaust = $500.00
- Intake SRI/CAI = $250.00
- Falken Azenis tires = $400.00
- Comptech race header = $1,000.00
- Hondata = $600.00
- Cobalt Friction GT-sport brakes= $129.00
- Carbon Fiber hood= $ 500.00

For a total of: $ 5,379.00

For around $600.00 dollars less then that crappy Aspec package you could go the other route and whop that " aspec" package like a red headed step child.

Wit this new info i no reason to fear this new RSX-S A-spec while i'm in my ITR so that mean i will be ****** wit each and every rsx-s that i see on the road.( i can only hope that they are stock cuz i'm stock for now). DC2-R is better .

GM syncromesh tranny fluid is the best i've heard because GM makes shitty manual trannys so they got the best tranny fluid to solve the problem. If you ever get grinding syncnos i heard GM is the best place to get tranny fluid. I heard it works wonders.
