Default Strange Request: Anyone using or used Del Sol seats in their R?

While hanging out last night, a friend I hadn't seen in a while came by with his EK hatch and I noticed he had installed Del Sol seats in his car. When I sat in them they seemed really comfy and seemed to sit way lower than the stock seats.
Would they fit in an Integra? Or maybe even a rail swap to my stock R seats?

These rails would seem to be much less expensive than the aftermarket ones for sale that i've seen.

Sorry if this has been covered but I found nothing in a search.

Thanks Opie

It would be nice to have some more room in my car.

Well you know where your R weight reduction should begin...

Another set of good 'stock' seats are the 4th gen Prelude seats, nicer than the Del Slow seats, IMO. But I'm not sure I'd replace my R seats with either of them....

Your just mad cause you can see your *****

Note: I am not looking to replace my seats . I wanted to know if the rails from those seats would fit on ITR seats because they seem lower and could drop the seat height a few inches..

I think only the EG cibic 92-95 has direct swap seats. I used to want to put my del Sol seats in my EG but was told they wouldnt work. Therefore, the del Sol rails probably wont work in the HYPE R.

.....please let us know if you can get the del sol seats to work in an itr, and whether the seating position is lower!

I'd rock the del sol seats in my itr. They are better than the usdm itr seats, imho.....

you can use the seats with the type r rails and it will sit lower.the del sol rails will not bolt in,the bolt pattern is different.keep the del sol sliders and change the bolt pattern portion of the seat (4 bolts and they are off).

That's what I did for my GS-R.

I had a Sol seat in my R. It dropped right in, although it came from a 5th gen hatch (rails did)

Seating positing is a lower. It's nice although I'm not really tall at 5'10.

IMO, the Sol seats are better in everyway except for the fabric over the USDM R seats.

I want to drop my seats for added comfort that's all. When I go to the track it's a bit uncomfortable in my car with a helmet on. Hopefully some time during the next few days I can get a hold of those rails to try them out in my car. If I do Ii'll posta complete write up.
