How easy is it to install an OEM '94 GSR Tape/CD player in a '96 GSR???
I just have the OEM tape player in my '96 GSR and I just bought an OEM CD/Tape player from a '94 GSR. Is is a direct install? Do I need any tools? Anybody done this before? How long does it take? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
the harness should be the same.

Just put a '97 GSR CD player in my '92 GSR, took all of 15 minutes. 5 or 6 screws and it slides and plugs right in. Almost instantly. Just like it was made for it.

I did the same thing with a '94 GS-R cassette player in my '01 ITR. Just as easy.
As OpTiX619 said, make sure you have the code for the one you're installing, or it ain't gonna work until you do.
