Default Take a look at this pic and tell me how...

I want to know what spring/shock combo I need to get to get my car this low. I am leaning towards the Tein S Tech/KYB AGX combo. Will these springs get me down this low or do I need to go with something like Neuspeed race springs? Thanks for any advice.

go with some coil over ... that should answer you question tein basic $675 from heeltoe. since u are going to be buying springs and shocks just add a 1 or 2 hundred more for a nice set of coil-overs .. car is the one from ff-squad im not sure what size the wheels are but it varies depending on the wheels size and tires you have you'll aways have to consider that.. that's why i prefer coil-overs

He has ground-controls: an old site i dont know if he changed it since then.

Thats definetly Teins or something else really good cause hes in FF squad.
Tein S-tech will only drop you 1.7/1.8 at most. If you really want to go low, get some coilover sleeves or full coilovers.

yup s tech'd drop you 1.7 at the most.......

I'd go basic or SS, but gawd damn that is low...I'm just a lil higher and its a pain in the *** to drive sometimes...

so a lil search and I'm sure his set up is on here.

I got the s-tech and agx setup and it was relatively cheap compared to a real coilover setup. It suits my needs but come next spring and I'm gonna try auto-xing and well see then.

you can get that low with GC and Koni yellow's. there is no way a spring will get you that low unless you go with eibach ERS and i guess, I have never done it but heard, that you can get any height spring from them.

cambers not the enemy...its your degree of toe in or toe out you have...as long as you set that at 0 your tires should be fine...

S tech definantely won't get you that low. I'd lower your car about 2.25". That would be a nice drop. Get either full coilovers or some neuspeed race, or h&r race springs.

That is Greg Randle and the suspension that is on the car is basic Ground Control coilovers,I also believe from what i heard he is riding on factory struts.

both Tein RE. you can use other things, you could use a stock shock, get maxspeed coils, take the purches and the top hats out and the **** is dumped... Just remember that that low with a soft spring rate will make you bottom out alot!

no matter how perfect your toe is if the camber is out your gonna ruin the tires. thats why people use camber kits.

my car is pretty dumped and have h&r race and koni yellows.

Holy Jesus! Are you guys that clueless? Not one of you mentioned the scary lack of shock travel and how it could lead to... ahh I give up... That low on OEM shocks or Konis, it really doesn't matter anymore, do what suits you. Keep your Visas warm.
