ive done a search but i cant find it anywhere, is there like a set of pics that show how to make a d2s bulb fit a 9006/5 socket

i want to do a HID conversion without having to swap the projector housing- not that much money right now--
should i wait or is there a place i missed--

i'm confused....the integra's have projector lenses....and that's what the D2S bulb is made for. So you don't have to swap anything. I have a Hella 700k HID kit, and it was completely plug and play. No wiring to do, no cutting or drilling.

 

so you are telling me that the d2s bulb you have has a 9006 configuration to fit the housing of the bulb properly- i was under the impression that the bulb had different prong locations and needed to be fit to the 9006 housing some how---

still confused becase you can not interchange 9005 and 9006 or H$ with each other so how can you interchange d2s with 9006

 

You have to trim the D2S bulb to fit the 9006 connector.

Take a halogen 9006 bulb and cut off the top and bottom so that the base is left. Then cut a hole in the center of the base so that it can fit the D2S bulb. I wish I had the link to show you the picture directions. I just completed this same retro-fit about 3 days ago
