Default Leather Care

I just traded off my CR-V for a 2003 Pilot EX-L. this is the first vehicle I've ever owned with leather so I never really learned proper care for leather car interiors. Can any of you folks drop some knowlege on how/and what I need to ensure my interior stays in good shape for a long time. Thank you.

yes. keep it clean and moisturized. Thats the biggest thing. Leather is skin and if you let it dry out it will be destroyed. On a daily driver I would clean/moisturize the drivers seat every 2 weeks and the unused seats once a month with some lexol or meguiars

The secret ninja leather care product.... You wanna know... First, if the seat isnt dirty, no need to clean it.. If it is dirty, you want to take some joy dishsoap and mix it with some water.. scrub em down and dry them off.. NOW, the best thing for leather on the market is not even a leather product... Pledge. You knwo that **** your mom does the coffee tables with and stuff.. Thats it.. Has a SUPER high content of wax so it offers alot of protection. We use lemon pledge here at my shop and it is really nice.. No sick shine, just a nice glaze to it.. Not slimy.. DOesnt stink....

I met an old man who has been doing leather uphohlstry for about 25 years.. he recommended it... havent looked back since...

So, ive been doing this for 10 years, he has been doin it for 25.. So its first hand experience.. Best thing to use..

Leatherique seems to be pretty popular. You can purchase it direct from the manufacturer at http://www.Leatherique.com

I have no first hand experience with this product.
