Car burning distributor HELP????

Default Car burning distributor HELP????

I just finished dropping a LS motor in my 91 hatch. Car was a std 4spd. MPFI swap was done car ran like a champ, then i dropped in tha LS like 2 months after tha mpfi swap. There is 2 plugs on the dizzy, 1 big plug tha other is little. The wires that burn are on the little plug, the colors that burn are black with yellow line and a blue wire they both melt. My car has burnt 2 dizzy's. I need help, dont know whats wrong.

Those wires send signals for the tach and I believe to the ecu....from the sounds of it they shorted out and the extra current melted them....you might wanna check if there is continuity between the blue wire and ground, then black wire and ground...

Now sure what spec is, you'll have to look it up in a manual
