Did some 0-60 tests on my Type R the other day...
on the Passport G-Timer. Only had time to do some 0-60s, ran a 5.90 best run up the track, and a 5.97 best run back, runs pretty consistently around 6 seconds. We've got a more advanced accelerometer that does braking and stuff, I'll probably snag that at some point and see what kind of numbers.
mods that matter for 0-60: 4.929 FD, stock wheels, Yokohama A032R-S 225s front, 205s rear, 6/10ths of a tank of gas, pretty chilly outside (55ish degrees I believe).

I'm pretty sure he would have to shift into 3rd since in the stock gearing, 2nd tops out at or near 60.
That's pretty fast times
Did you launch it?

Scott, nice numbers. Are you driving those A-032R's on the street? If so, how is the wear, and how are they in the rain?

only other mods are a comptech icebox and a DC 4-2-1 USDM header, which probably does more for weight than anything. I have not dynoed the car in a while, and it could stand a tune-up (51,000 miles, haven't done timing check or valve adjustment in some time.)
The A032R-S are just for autox and stuff, we were getting some lap times on my stock suspension to compare to an upcoming mod, and I had the time to play with the G-Timer. They're the soft compound A032R, very grippy (they had the best mean lap time in our most recent tire test, see the Aug. 03 issue of GRM), not worth running on the street though (unless money is no object and you've GOT to have large traction.)
Tires were reasonably warm, I did about 12 runs each way, one after another, every run in the 5.9-6.1 range.

0-60 the stock ITR is supposed to be about 6.5 seconds. I guess its up to whatever magazine you felt like picking up then, they were all pretty much the same . Except one, where the ITR ran like a 15.1 { dont remember what magazine that was

Not necessarily. I've tried it a couple times, and your momentum in acceleration through 1st and 2nd will actually put you over 60mph if you push the clutch in at the top of 2nd... (think drag launch here)
