my rsx is fine but today i was washing my moms brand new tl and what looked to be some lines was on the front bumper. I rubbed to take them off and clear coat chipped off, this car has about 3000 miles on it. I'm going to the dealer tomorrow to see what they think, anybody have anything similar happen to them

to be honest, acura makes good cars but their paint sucks hard core! i have an '03 base with under 10,000 miles and my hood and fender have rock chips galore. but acura makes good touch up paint acura touch up paint + langka =

 

I dont know... I have a Ford and my mom has a new chevy monte carlo and just about anything is hard to keep little rock chips off of... it doesn't really matter who painted the car.

Be sure its not some kind of paint protection coating, I know on our RSX's we sometimes don't get it all off. Then when someone sees it it looks like a paint defect. Otherwise thay should handle it.

 

waxing your car will help prevent a little, but there is not much you can do about rock chips

 

Isn't there a paint protection on the warranty, Acura will probably fix it.
