May sound stupid, I can't really picture it, but has anyone cut the grill out of their stock front bumper? I've seen it work on other Hondas before in some situations. If so, any pics, and what did you use?

EDIT: I have a black FMIC sitting behind it, so it may not look empty.

 

I have a friend that cut his out. both his front and the scoop things that are under the turn signals. on his it looks really flimsy but he just did it because he was bored.

 

Back when i had my EG when we installed the turbo we cut a huge hole in the front of the bumper, it looked like an r32 bumper lol. The bumper was already all banged up and i had one i was putting on it, but it did get quite a decent amount of air to the intercooler vs. not cutting it, and it actually didnt look that bad. Just take your time and get it rounded off good and sand down any rough edges.

ive cut holes out for ef foglights. basicly part of the bumper tho.

 

i cut a huge hole in mine too like dude said for the intercooler..i got the apex skyline intercooler..its pretty ill

 

that's the homedepot gardening lip. somewhat molded into the stock bumper possibly.

I cut my grill out a while back.it looks alright,better than stock i think.

 

I had to cut mine for intercooler piping and Tyrus FMIC. If anyone wants this bumper it will be off my car and available for anyone who wants to pick it up. I'm getting my car painted and decided to pickup new bumpers.

I was going to cut mine and put some gutter guard in it . I'm so cheap....

 

I dont have any pics but I do it.
Cheap improvments are cool in my book.

 

I cut out the verticle slats in my bumper and I cut 2 holes for my foglights whenever I get around to putting those in.

 

Anyone remember seeing a black civic on here with Integra bumper lights , made it look like jdm???

Hey dont feel bad,i got gutter guard in mine right now. (same stuff the speed grills are made of,but it only cost 97 cents instead of 50 or up.

thats mien cut, cant see much, but there it is. will post more once i get my clutch fixed! ACK. also i have black mirrors and black window trim, rear lip since that pic.
