IMHO...AEM, but I've heard some very good feedback on the Injen set-up as well.

I've installed an AEM in my car before (now removed for autoX) and an Injen in a friend's car.

Performance wise, they're probably similiar (Injen might have the slightest edge) but fitment wise the AEM is much better.

yoshi - who misses his AEM sound

I am in a strange position for this one. My InJen pience fit perfectly, and didnt rub as much as the AEM did...BUT my piece wasnt one of the mass production versions and I have heard similiar complaints as yoshi stated. Performance is close but some dyno's have shown a slight advantage to InJen.

I would love to get the mugen, or the arc but at the moment that gazillon dollars for each of them can be spent somewhere else in the car. Well, maybe later on in life i will have all the goodies!

I got the injen, had it for a few months now, the only fitment problems that I had was that it would rub against the AC lines, but I just stuck a sock in there to prevent it from rubbing also it seems the pipe is a little deformed in one area due to heat maybe, but I really really doubt it would affect performance. I don't really like the sound of the injen intake, I prefer the sound of stock intake w/out resonater. Performance wise it seems to pull a little more harder at top end.

i personally like aem but thats all i have used....it seems to sound and work pretty good but you cant except to much of a difference in perforance between them because you not going to see much gains but it still allows for better air flow so its what ever you feel like spending

how come nobody ever compared the Iceman CAI with those? imo they perform just as well if not better than those.

You can get the bypass valve for the AEM. Thats the way I would go.

INJEN sucks. They always come dirty inside with some kind of dust that came from the polish. and also, the polish is so damn sensitive. sometimes their welds are like **** and the pipes don't even line up. If you've kept up with certain s2k boards you'll know that Injen is some half *** company. Their idea of r&d is to cut a bunch of pipes and just hope it fits. and when it does they start making up claims about how muhc hp it gives. In the past I've been through 3 injen intakes, all sent back because of flaws. My honest advice would be to save yourself some grief and get the AEM.
