If you go to TurboTrix, Id be curious to know how they treat you. They tune AEM EMS and Id like to check them out one day myself.

What about some shops in Philly, anything there?</TD></TR></TABLE>
ralphy at drt is great, but isn't organized. a couple of months ago i called him to schedule an "appointment" for the following week, i called again 3 days prior, and then again the day before - everything was set, i was to be first in line. after i drove almost 2hrs, i arrived at the shop to find a nsx already on the dyno and sat there for about 4hrs waiting and never got on the dyno. ralphy was apologetic but i can't waste a day again for a relatively simple 1 hour job.

I might tag along with you to get dyno tuned. Maybe we can get a group rate if enough R Speed members are interested.
is going to need at least 5-6 pulls with the wideband.

lol, street tuning is best if its VAFC only, I use my wideband to tune as you drive. We have an open strip in central jersey that we make a few pulls on.
For cam gears and so forth, I use DRT in NYC, price are good when you include dyno session including tuner ... most of the other places just tune but don't know too much about hondas if you ask me.

Agreed. Basically it seems more like first come, first serve. I went through the same **** the last couple times I went there. Ralphy knows his stuff, but they are very unorganized.
Furthermore, Ralphy doesnt seem to want to spend the time tuning out the little quirky stuff, atleast with me he didnt. He was content leaving it at a decent base line and didnt want to experiment, especially with my cam gears. We made a few(3 or 4) pulls with different cam gear settings (and no fuel adjustments) and he didnt see much improvement so my JUN3s are left a 0,0. No way in hell are they best at 0,0 but Im stuck with it for now

i understand how you can tune the fuel on the street, but how do you know where to put vtec without a dyno?

That's the thing. I sort of want to see a before and after dyno graph (going from OBD2B to OBDI).

i've read in here about a dude who switched an obd2 car over to obd1 (no other mods) and saw no gain. however, i didn't see dynos or any proof, just word of mouth.

I just want to see if all these rumors are true. Like how OBD2 compensates for mods and reduces power after "learning" about said parts (per NTPOG).
And I'm not running a "stock" program in the OBD1 ECU.

Really? I haven't heard any thing but good. They tuned my friends car (turbo GSR) no probs.
:fingers crossed:

ok, kyle, sometime after new year's day we (you, matt, me) will probably go to turbotrix and get some dyno runs. hopefully i'll have the vafc tuned beforehand and get 3 runs on the dyno for baseline numbers.

Well, I guess it depends on the shop. But it doesnt have to be limited to Rs of course. I know a few people that might be interested, especially if its an AWD dyno (I believe it is) and they tune UTEC.
