Default S2K OEM HIDz

Sup honda-tech. I'd like to know the intensity (color) of the S2k's HIDz. (ex: 8000, 9000) Pls let me know wassup. Thx

Most of the cars on the road today use 4100k-4300k HIDs from the factory. The S2000 is 4100 I believe.

Ill agree with that. If your looking for bling bling 8000ks you either go aftermarket or the closest would be BMW.

4100k dats it? i think its higher than that its way brighter than the 5000k ones i bought for mah accord

That's because 5000k produces less lumens. Less light output. The higher the temperature rating, the more blue in color the light will look.

S2000 is 4300k or so, the reason it looks blue/purplish at times is because of the really sharp cut-off line that's awesome, hence the "flicker" effect that annoy many people

I do miss my OEM JDM hid's on my DC2. They were nice too!

i've heard 4300 too, ill agree with that.

I think Audi and BMW are in the 5000 range, but that's as high as they go OEM.
