I want to rebuild the motor and tranny in my 93 ex, where can i get new rings, and seals, and gaskets and such? Also where can i get a good tranny rebuild kit, i also think im gonna go with an lsd unit when i rebuild, wheres the best place to get parts?

 

For gaskets, seals, bearings, rings, etc. just use OEM Honda, contact len and he'll be able to get them for you. As for an LSD in a d-series tranny, Honda never made one, and I don't know if Quaife ever did. Do a search to find out more about the LSD.

They did, its on the 1.5 vtec hatch in Japan.

 

Also the 88-91 DOHC ZC tranny (it's d-series) had an optional LSD in Japan as well.

I'm pretty sure Quafe makes an LSD for the D-series.
