i tried ebay. they only have aftermarket 'transponder' keys. they pretty much look oem, but are the keys used for those coded ignition keys, for like 97+ preludes and such. does anyone know if i can just cut these blank keys and not use the transponder part? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...61752

you should be able to use a transponder key and cut to fit and have it work, the chip in the key would just be useless

Yes.. You can use a non transponder key if your orginal key does have a transponder only on the doors, and trunk. If you put a non -transponder in your ignition i hear It will screw some stuff up.
