Default Suspension for 90% track and 10% street. Building a Sport FWD class car

I am considering taking my car and dedicating it to Sport FWD with very little street use-----finally picked up a daily driver.
I was thinking of Eibach rear springs (900lb. spring rate I think they are) with either KYB or Tokico adjustable shocks. Fronts I am unsure of, but I believe most guys use the GC coilovers and an adjustable shock as well.
I would like to run high 1.6 to consistent low 1.7s for 60' times. Slicks will be 24.5x8 for now and go up to 26" at the most when I get the cash for some real axles.
Wheelie bars are not allowed for Sport FWD, but I would like to run some to see how the car reacts with them.

I didnt put alot of emphasis on my suspension, but then again, that was not by choice. hehe. I would just get a set of skunk 2 race springs and some good adjustable struts, u dont need anythign major, and it will still be "ok" when u drive on the street. I was nailing fair 60ft's with stock struts all season,, so once i add struts to the skunk 2 drags, i should see better results, BTW, i plan on adding some jimfab bars as well

That`s a horrible recommendation.

Just use GC`s and Tokicos. It`s a great budget setup for drag racing. Also, w/ the GC`s, you`ll have a ton of rates to choose from which will allow you to actually "tune" the suspension to your liking.

Strange Engineering has just released there front and rear double adjustable shocks. They are valved for racing. Ron Lumis had a hand in helping Strange with these new shocks.

i get kinda confused when it comes to suspension....

but how would the TEIN adjustable from in car do? u can make it stiff in the back and then when the run is over soften it back up all from the cockpit.

just curious if that would work.

I hit a 1.62 60' on Ground Controls and KYB AGX shocks. Standard Civic spring rates. 24.5x8.5x13 M&H slicks. Car weighed 2610 lb at the time. Keep it simple.

me and all my buddies use the obx full coilover shock set up it is very stiff when stiffened up but when street use comes to hand you can still adjust it to a descent ride its pretty cheap to

The flex has an advantage for drag racing that most people don't know is there, I'd explain it, but you know everything already. The spring rates are not very good though. GC/tokico is the best set up for the money.

I use Skunk 2 coilovers, they are nice and stiff and adjustable makes life alot easier esp when trying to get 26's in the wheel wells.
i have been using stock ITR shocks and struts just becuase they have been working soo well for me . i might switch thme out eventually to get something more adjsutable.
tractins bars helped me out a bit and esp my motor mount inserts to keep everything in sync and elim wheel hop. you dont need anything major though. The tien i dea i think it a little too much you can do alot more with that money youll spend on them.
