I just got finished reading a post about real mugens vs. rotas and other knockoffs...and some people say some ignorant *** things!...since i've been on honda-tech i've noticed alot of things that dissappoint me!...people on here are so quick to talk **** and hate on others that can't spend top dollar on top end parts for their cars. This eventually turned into people saying that because of this imports are gonna die. Does anyone else think this is retarded? Some people, such as myself, can't spend top dollar for numerous reasons 1. cause i got bills to pay and 2. cause my car is a magnet to theives..and i know other people have their reasons also.

As for the disappointment, i always used to go into car chat rooms (before i found out about honda-tech) to talk cars just for the love of them. It always seemed that it was full of a bunch of guys into their muscle cars and thats all there was..those are the only real cars..imports are ****, rice, slow, etc....I even had a guy tell me that skylines were over-rated and can easily be takin out by a stock mustang .......now me being the import fan that i am..i wanted to choke this ****** for his ignorance!

SO i come to honda-tech, I think this is the ****, a bunch of people who have the same love as me. So the more i'm on it, I notice you guys (not everyone) are no different from the muscle heads! First you guys hate on the ricers! In my opinion i don;t like that style (bodykits, conversions, crazy paint, apc lights), and obviously no one on here does too. But why talk **** on that man who built his car up? He spent thousands of dollars on his car for the same reason all of us did, its a hobby and he loves cars. That man is no different for spending 10g's on a complete body conversion then one of you guys spending tha same amount just under your hood! That man walks by his car and smiles and is proud of it just a s much as all of you.

Just because someone isn't spending all their HARD EARNED money on their car, their cars are also **** now! How much homo can you get? You little girls sound like you should be on that show with paris hilton and nicole richie, wining and **** about how cheap everyone else is!

My point of this post was hopefully to make some of you realize that you are sounding just as ignorant as all the other car enthusiests (sp?) who talk **** on hondas. As for me, don't try and come out with "if you don't like it, then don't come to the site anymore"......If that is your response, suck a dick and swallow cause your the ignorant **** i am talking too!!.....

 

Isn't it pretty ignorant of you to assume you have the correct viewpoint on this and block out others' ideas?

I understand people don't have money for things all the time, neither do I. I just save up for the best. Whether that takes a year or couple months, it's worth it to me. That might not be everyone else's philosophy, but it's mine for my car.

 

I spend about 50% of my income for my car. I've learned to budgert myself that way. I don't mind speding top dollar of nice stuff. But as far as talking **** on others peoples mods, I keep it to myself. It's good to see a little of everything here in HT. But there is a lot of bandwagon mods here too that get praise no matter what kind of mod it is.

 

i didn't make my self clear....i'm not talkin **** about people who do buy top ens parts and spend all their money..just hose types of people who talk **** about people who can't......sorry for the misinerpretation

you know what the real meaning behind buying the real deal from the fake **** is because of the following things:

1. Because it is the real deal
2. Because it is better constructed(i know a lot of people will try to debate this, but the quality of the real stuff is better. Most people think they have the same part or same looking, but when you actually pay attention to detail, then you will see the difference.
3. Because it makes you feel better that you got the real stuff (many people on this board get the expensive stuff because it feels better to have the real stuff. you tend to value the stuff more)
4. Because the RESALE value of real rims are better than fake rims. (i.e. you buy some rota RNRs w/ brand new tires for $650-$825 depending on tires....then you try to resell it the next week, then you can maybe get $600 or less if that. If you buy a set of Mugen RNRs for $900 now....then in the next week or so, you can still get $900 or more depending on availabilty.)
5. Because the real thing just looks better

This is all my opinion and in no way trying to debate. In all honesty, everyone should buy what they can afford and what makes them happy. That is what it is all about. If you are happy with the purchase, then cool.......i still think that if you want a certain rim....then wait until it is affordable or available, because then your money starts disappearing because of all the rims you went through from not being happy.
