Default Question About My Shift Linkage & Shifter

I use the Hasport Shift linkage with my B-series swap in my 91 si hatch.....
I have a red generic gsr style short shifter with ES poly bushings and when i put it in gear it has WAY to much play. For instance, Put it in first gear and you can move it side to side at least 3-4 inchs. I got under the car and tighten the shifter bolt and it still done it. Anyone else experiancing the same problem ???
