Default 90 accord lx tranny

my little sisters car is a 90 lx with the auto tranny it doesnt shift right and the sport mode stays on. when the car is started and in park there is a buzzing noise like something electrical is messed up has anyone had this problem with theres

i remember reading somewhere about the buzzing... it said something about a bad TCM... which would cause the bad shifting, ect.

reset the tcm just unbolt the battery for a few hours and it will reset.

if resetting it doesnt fix the problem.. then yes the TCM is bad... a chip on the board will look burned.. there was a pdf on a tech2tech website, but last time i checked the site was down... but esssentially, if resetting it doesnt work, it will need to be replaced.
