Need a 4gen jdm folding mirrors wiring diagram!!!
I searched everywhere, the only one I found was about civic jdm mirrors... but the relay seems to be not the same.
The switch has one additional wire comparing to the oem one (for the fold button), the mirrors have 2 additional wires (for folding motors) - it is easy.
The problem is a relay. It has 7 wires : (from left to the right) blue-white, red, blue-yellow, black, white-yellow, blue, blue-red. I have no idea how to wire it... and I wouldn't like to blow it by an incorrect wiring...
And, it is a question to jdm experts: how does exactly the folding system works:
1. Does it operate without key in ignition lock?
2. When you use the e-brake does the mirrors fold?
3. .....???.....

blue/yellow goes to the switch
black ground
white yellow constant power
2 go to each mirror just play around with them to until you get them to work correctly.

Thanks for your answer, are you sure about this? There rests in fact 4 wires, but 2 of them are thin and 2 are larger... so why one mirror would be powered with thins and another wit large wires???

Yes, you are absolutely right!!! Thanks a lot. I made a test this morning and it works. I will put all my experiences in another thread so others can do the swap easily

hey fellas, I 'm about to wire my JDM mirrors in, need some quick answers!
Wheres the stock mirror relay located, and how do I wire up the new relay? Do i have to add flying leads to the 7 pin relay? Plus whats the best way to wire up from the mirrors themselves (if you dont have 7 pin plugs seen as the stockies have 3 pins or something)
p.s. my car as it is today! Should be painted this weekend! Huzzah!

I'll post some pics up of the car BTW when its back together in a few weeks. By them it will have all its JDM goodies on and looking horn in its new paint!

Originally in a JDM RHD car it is located into right door there where in the left one you can find a central locking relay box.
As to me as I have a LHD car, I have put the folding relay box into left door, in such case I needed to pull only two wires outside left door, it means two additional wires going to right door. If I remember well, all other signals (so ground, constant power and ignition on power) has been aviable from central locking relay box.
But as you are from Australia, you probably have a RHD car, so I suppose it will be inverse. In other words the rule is to put the folding relay in the same door where central locking relay is. It lets to make a minimal number of wires you have to pull from one door to other one.
And the last good news is if you have a RHD car, you will not need to play with supports, you put originally JDM mirrors just as they are
If you haven't JDM 5 (not 7) mirror connectros, use your 3 pin ones, and just add any 2 pin connectors from any junk yard car on the side.
