Default jdm frontend

i was wonder if i were to get a jdm front end conversion on my 88 crx hf or my 88 civic std would it make it heavier? or would it stay at the same weight?

another question where can i find a crx sir rear seat? and would it if in a 88 crx hf? and are the motors from password jdm smog and carb legal?

jdm front bumper would make it lighter i believe. thats what i heard. not positive tho.

There's a JDM bumper support? When I got mine it was just styrofoam I hope I'm not missing anything.

Well it's just a strip of metal to mount it to the body. Here is a pic of a JDM and USDM bumper support for DA.

wow im glad to here that it is lighter, becuz i really like the way it looks but i just did want to make my car heavier be it would defeat the purpose of me gutting it out

oh another thing do you know where i can find a sir crx backseat? and would it fit a hf? i've looked at a few website but i cant find anything.

you are in socal check out recycler.com...they have one for $500 in there right now which is a bit pricey but i've seen a few from time to time for really cheap.

Lighter.
The USDM headlights are heavy glass and the JDM headlights are plastic.
Plus, when you put them in, you remove all this crappy metal mounting hardware that was added to the USDM car so it can have glass headlights.

500 lbs...does it really matter? considering you are adding a backseat which will ad weight...are you making this into a drag only car? cause 20-100 lbs isnt going to make a difference on a street car...

well actually the backseat is for my friend, my crx is going to be completely gutted out its a race only car, i was just asking for my friend, and the frontend conversion is for my civic hb

100 pounds would make a difference every pound makes a difference, it lows the power weight ratio
