hey, guys, I was wondering what I would have to do to use 91 headlights and corner lights on my 89 civic. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

 

Well you will obviously need the 90/90 headlights and corner lights, other than that you need all of the plastic clips that clip onto the fender that will now hold the corner lights. Thats all there is to it. It all bolts right on.

why do you want to swap them though? Only thing that will be different is instead of having the 2 screws on the outside holding the corner light you will have the one screw on the inside. Headlights look the same actually so I mean technically you wouldnt need the 90/91 Headlights themselves just the mounting brackets.

 

I just like the way that the 90-91 headlights are a little rounder and slanted, and I like the corner lights better cause it don't show the 2 screws.

 

The headlights are different? Are you sure?

 

The headlights are the same, and as far as teh corner lights dont even bother, the 90-91 corners wont stay on and fit perfectly, it is a pita because i had to put a 91 fender on my 89 crx and i used the 89 corner and it pops off sometimes, dont waste your time.

but on a side note, if u do go through with this, i got a set of 91 headlights in brand enw cond. ill sell ya cheap, pm me if your interested

Its all an illusion the headlights are the same for 88-91 hatches and CRX's.

As for the corner lights like I said you will have to get all the plastic clips off of 90/91 fenders so they will fit on and stay on.
