Default Engine wiring harness question..

I'm trying to get an engine wiring harness. Just the portion that connects to all the sensors, etc.. I've been told that the GSR and ITR ones are the same. But I just checked the part numbers and their listed as different part numbers.

Can anyone confirm that they are in fact the same?

Thanks!

If i helps i have a 98 type-r engine harness for sale.

Not sure if the gsr harness would work though. It will have an extra connector for the butterfly in the int. mani. and i think you'll have to lengthen some sensor wires but other than that i'm not sure. peace.

I am using 94 GSR harness in mine, Mark. I have not put it in yet, but I know it can be used with ease. Any different plugs (butterflies) can just hang out of the way. I don't think the R has anything extra over the GSR so you should be good.

p.s. I still hate you....

So, like hondahahns said, this can just hang out of the way, right? And everything will work normally, no codes?

Damn man.. I wish I would've seen your post.. I had no way of telling that you had that based on the thread name.. I already ordered the harness in GSR form(OBD2a).. If something goes wrong, I'll most DEFINITELY be contacting you though..
