just my luck, im at my friends house and my ex comes and tells me, you took of your emblem? i was like WTF! i go and its gone the emblem is gone and they gave me a nice scratch to go with it. First the front a couple months ago, now the back!!!...SH*T!!! sorry just had to vent. ill post some pics as soon as i get a camera.

Sorry to hear another R emblem gone. I just took mine off this afternoon. I kind of like the look without the emblems, but I'm not sure what I will do about the holes. No money to fill the holes and repaint the bumper.

 

DAMN! they did that **** to me too. in my case they used a damn SCREWDRIVER. I'm getting it fixed this week tho. On the brighter side of things, I get them filled up for the price of my deductible and get to pocket some OEM emblems.

 

I don't get it... The only emblems on my R are the stupid Acura 'A'. My R script is decals ( You might be able to scrape them off but you'd just have a pile of debris )

Do the U.S. cars have actual Type R emblems?

 

over here, immature kids have this thing for the stupid 'A' emblems your'e referring to. Basically, they'll take anoything on our cars. A friend of mine put on a plain silver one after his got stolen, and now even those are gone. I'm telling you EVERYONE WANTS A PIECE OF OUR CAR'S.

 

yep same here man, on my front bumper and the rear they BOTh used flatheads..you can clearly see the marks...looks like im gonna have to buy me some cheap *** 15 dollar emblems..

 

Funny.. I saw a TEG at one of the local body shops with a metal Type R emblem.

Thought he might have stolen it from one of you guy's...

Not that I want one, but i wonder where he got it from...

 

Theres a black civic hatch in town here locally. It has a type-r acura badge on the back upside down. While I walked by I notesed the ding in the side of the emblem where it had been "screwdrivered" off its Origional vehicle....

 

they will get theirs, !!!!!!!!!

 

******...I hope that when I saw him on the side of the road with his hood popped and three cop cars surrounding him that he was getting a nice big ticket (and maybe getting questioned about a stolen motor??).

that happened to me at school before...******* ripped off the back but couldnt take the front and left scrape marks all around the front emblem. what a bunch of ****** morons. anyways i put a camera in my car and that solved the taking of the emblems.
