Default steering column sound

It normally occurs when I first move my car like out of a parking space. I think a lot of American cars do it, it's sort of a slight whirring sound" as u move forward and turn. I had acura check it out and they said it might be my suspension cus I changed it but I doubt it. Then he said it might be that a part in the steering column needed to be lubed. I guess they never did it cus it still makes the sound and there was no comment about the lube on the bill. Anyone else get this sound, it seems to have no performance factor it's just and annoying sound

Usually on other cars when they make noise under conditions like that it is becuase you are low on power steering fluid. You might want to check that to make sure that your fluid levels are ok. Otherwise, you might just need to re-lube some of your steering rack components.
