Where is the IAT on the DPFI?
I am goin to be doing the MPFI to DPFI swap very soon, and i am goin to be installing a d16y8 manifold instead of the crx si one. I was wondering if someone could tell me if i could use the dpfi IAT, or do i need to have an si one. IF i can use the DPFI IAT, Where is it? Is it the white plug that is mounted to like the 2nd runner? Held in with 2 screws?
Let me know,
Matt

Its a small white sensor with two phillips screws and two wires on the intake runner nearest to the drivers side on both dx & si. DPFI & MPFI look identical. Many here have relocated the iat to the intake
tube in front of the throttle body on y8 intake swaps. IMO, I'm not sure I can agree to this but I can't think of another way so...when in Rome.
I am looking to do the y8 swap too and stay OBD0. I have everything I need but I'm working with all the sensors so the computer doesn't turn bitch on me.

The problem with the Y8 manifold is they don't have a spot for the IAT on the manifold like other's do. The EK's have the IAT before the throttle body mounted to the intake tube. You'll need to drill the manifold to fit a normal IAT sensor or use an EK one mounted in the intake tube.
