Default Mugen and APC merge...

Well maybe not... but I thought I would play a joke on my buddy when he decided to walk around Nopi this year. He was extremely pissed off when he came back and saw what we did to his MUGEN ITR. I thought you guys would get a kick out of it since you have such an apathy for APC and a love for Mugen. Enjoy and feel free to make 'owned' pictures from it.

By the way, all of his parts are authentic MUGEN. I'll post up more pictures later if you guys really want to see all of the goodies under the hood as well as in the interior and hidden up in the suspension.

Normally I would discourage any action that in any way insults a reputable company such as Mugen, but what you did is just too cool.

why doesnt he get a nice intake instead of the aem?

having a mugen valve cover over a better intake is stupid in my book.

different strokes for different folks

Maybe he needs his motor mods to have CARB #.

Thats why I have one. I got owned by San Diego Police and had to buy one to pass emissions test. They do a visual test in CALI.

He loves him some AEM I guess. He is in the process now of redoing the valvetrain again. Right now he has a nice amount of power but not enough in my opinion... this is because he refuses to listen to me and get the right cams. Another thing we noticed was a horrible section on the dyno chart where the motor would stop creating power... this area was typically where the ITR cams usually start making power at. We were under the impression that he had his valve lash clearances set a bit on the tight side. He loosened them up a bit and could feel a bit more performance, but then again this is on the butt dyno.

In SC we have no emmission tests Thank god, because my car would fail miserably.

that's a beaut R, but the APC makes me want to puke. it'd be disgraceful if he put APC stickers on the car.

That is awesome. Best that I have been able to do so far is to place those light up LED valve stem caps on the passenger side of my buddies ITR. He was pissed when he saw them in the reflection of another car on the freeway one night.
