Can I get a TPS without buying a complee throttle body?
I need a Throttle Positioning Sensor for my 97 GSR motor that is in my hatch. Acura says they only sell it with the throttle body. Can someone point me in the right direction.
yup, same situation with my 88 Civic. Best bet is to find someone parting out a motor or checking at a junkyard.

2 options I've come across.
#1 Go to any junkyard there have got be thousands of junk hondas, cut one off OR buy the whole throttle body and then re-sell it without the TPS.
#2 I' can't remember where I read or heard this but, try a Honda motorcycle dealer. The TPS' s they sell are exactly the same and you can buy them seperatley. I think the're like $40.00 or something.
I've never tried it but I know I read or heard about it somewhere. Can anyone confirm this?
HTH.
