rumor i heard out here in ny vinny is switching to a gf2000 5sp no longer is gonna be running gas and putting his heavyweight on a lil diet to get to weight it came from a real good source if true everyone look out vinny is the big dog paul who?

Im sure his reasons are to be nhra champion next year. Modified is going to be a very interesting class next year with many new cars and don't be surprised if we start seeing et's in the 7.20's. Vinny is preparing for it im sure.

That car has tons of potential, i just never figured he would ditch that tranny. Car weighs alot still and would make ALOT more power if he ditched the gas, hehe

Rumors are only rumors until you have actual proof, here's the truth.
#1 He's not switching to the GForce, he has too much support from FB and hasn't had any problems with it.
#2 He is indeed switching from gas
#3 He's already at his minimun weight limit 2700 pounds
#4 *Paul who* is running a Bullish back-half Solara (built by Bullish not MSP). If it was built by MSP I would agree Vinny would be the favorite, but since it's not it's going to be a 1 car race.
Don't count out Ceaser Febus and his old Z, he's always dangerous.

pauls car is not built by bullish, only the motor. its gonna be an exact repilica of what the bullish team is running now. and also don't forget that George is Pauls GodFather so he is defintily gonna look out for him.
and Cesar has a new car (350Z) with nissan backing. so he is definitly gonna be a force.
and i thought Vinnys car was waaaaayyy over weight not at minimum. he made it over weight for a reason.

FYI, Paul/MSP didn't choose a Solara because he likes Solara's, he choose it because Bullish had so much success with it, he realized through them he can do the same.
As for it not being built by Bullish... Having the motor built by and tuned by Bullish makes it built by BULLISH. C&F did the chassis but thats about all that Bullish didn't do. Now tell me who built the MSP car?

Nopi rules state that in Outlaw RWD with 1 power adder you can weigh 2,700.
How overweight can he be if his car weighs 2,700?

while I dont know the reason; I can say that at NDRA events, Vinny has weights in the back of his car.............he does like to screw around with your head, but I have never asked about the weights
Those weights look pretty real, I wonder if they are??? Either way it's a pretty cool trick

FYI... Vinny's car weighs 2,823 POUNDS. the weights are real. pauls new car is not built by C&F and yes MSP built the supra from the ground up at their own facility which is MSP.so i think you may need to be more specific when you say "BUILT". motor and chassis is 2 different things. and his new Solara was a choice of his and his dads. it has already ran 7.20's in testing(before the new turbo rule) and it is a 25.1 D chassis double rail pro mod style car.

well when i origanly came and said what i said my first word was RUMOR and thats how im leaving it all the others are i know this no i know this im wright your wrong sorry for posting a rumor and starting all this comosion i guess we will see at the beging of the season but what i do belive vinny is the man paul who?

He said he "heard" it went 7.20's.. last time i seen it, it was anything from close to done, so i duno how the **** it would have went 7.20's unless their magicians. but then again, i dont run modified, so i dont give a ****, lol
