SInce there doesn't seem to be a website like http://www.hybrid.honda-perf.org we need top start one. We are about to swap a 97 accord from auto to manual, then add our build h23a/vtec....a webiste with all the info would be great! The hyrbid guys have the link on their page but of course it's not active!!!!

me too, but i paid a shop to do it. i still researched it before i did it though so i made sure i didn't get f'd over and did everything right.

I had a 96 accord DX(auto)....now with a 95 JDM H22 (manual) motor. I did all myself, including wiring. I recommend....if you have never messed with a motorswap...do not attemp on your own. especially wiring your car from OBD2 to OBD1. Wiring the distributor/CPK was hell. I pretty much made a new harness from scratch. but you cat cut lengthen and shorten with out unravelling the harness. I just wanted it to look clean.

 

yeah you got any info on the wiring the ckp and the dist..thi smakes my l5th swap or so, so i thing i casn handle this one....I even made my own homemade obd1 to obd2b jumper so i may have enough under my belt:

today we got the pedals in for the 5 speed...i need to know if we have to hard wire the clutch swithc signal wires tot he ecu, etc so the car will start...

switched water pumps for the one with the crank flux....SEt timming ( io hate balancing shafts!!!

extended a few wires...any info would be help full in the swap engine or tranny...

if your talking about the switch that doesn't allow you to start the car with the clutch depressed, don't worry about it, i don't have it either and neither does anyone else.

the hardest part will be mounting the clutch pedal bracket, either weld it like stock to the firewall or mount it with bolts from the otherside.

 

Well I still need to know how to wire, why you didn't even use it or how you start your car without it....

I also need some info on how to wire the car for an external coil since the lude swap needs and internal one..?? please advise!
