you not trying to make a non-resister plug wires arent you?
dont you rate the wires by ohm's?

 

it is time to replace mine. And aftermarket ones are cheaper than stock, i plan to have a high performance NA car in the near future.

So i am tossing up whether to stick with new stock ones or upgrade to a thicker ignition wire now and kill 2 birds with one stone.

 

stock NGK wires have been proven time and time again on high whp boosted B series motors. But the actual prelude ignitions tend to peak out around 330whp. Stock's should be fine for a nice NA set-up, but if you want to switch to an aftermarket I would go with the magnecore's... Just a personal preference.

 

i have a h22a1 here is australia the prelude vtir is equal to your vtec model, sorry i did not specify my car / engine type.

i looked at magnecor they are $200 AU a set over here.

 

I think the magnecore's were like $70-80 USD.

If he did that, he'd have a fun time with any audio system in his car for sure!

 

if i saw the crocodile hunter i think i would be pushing him toward the crocs more

If you really want to go big, OBX makes some 10.3 mm wires. The bigger the better .
