Default gsr takes long crank to start randomly

anybody else have this problem... when ur u crank ur car.. it takes forever to start...

give us the specs on your car...year and mileage? my car starts normally everytime...except when im low on gas

I had that problem before when you turn the ignition key and it drags, but now its starts like a champ when i replaced the starter

mine only does it when i am low on gas. try turning the key on to accesory for like 5 seconds before you start it. mine starts fine whenever i do this even when low on gas.

Whens the last time you had a tune-up? Keep your plugs, wires, cap and rotor. If there's lots of corrosion near your battery terminals, clean it with sprite soda .

Also you might wanna check you Distributer, Cap, and Rotor, that sounds like it might be your problem, cuz the ignition might not be getting there.

Ok, my personal experience.

My car wouldnt crank right off. Battery was going out and after I replaced it, it cranked just fine...with the colder weather your battery is getting pushed hardier, so it might be time to pick up a new one...better to do it now then when your at the store and you cant get your car cranked. Also, after grounding wires the car cranks much faster.
