Default c5 inturnals in b18a1?

Dont know if anyones asked this befor but does anyone know if the b18c5 inturnals would fit my 90 b18a1, just curious to know.

you mean just engine? or the top end also *valves, springs, cams*

What do you mean by "internals"? The head is totally different. The B18A1 is a DOHC Non-Vtec, while the C5 is the ITR DOHC Vtec motor.

Pretty much the bottom end (block) can be swapped out as blocks are basically the same. You can put the rods, pistons, crank, etc in there. You can't put the "internals" of the B18C5 head into the head of the B18A1. If you wanted to do something like that, you'd have to look into a LS-Vtec setup.

Well, technically you could put Vtec cams into a Non-vtec head, but the middle lobe would just do nothing. I'm not sure if it would run right though, but it does physically fit.
