I believe that's the GVWR, Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, you're reading. No that's not the weight of your integra.

Just for reference I weighed my full interior 96 GS-R at 2627 lbs.

My full interior GSR was 2600 on the scales at the weigh station, half tank of gas.

 

can you just roll up to a truck stop and park on the scales? or do you have to ask and pay or something?

The GVWR is the vehicle weight plus it's rated carrying capacity (not towing capacity).

You have to ask first, I told the lady that I had a big race this weekend and I have to meet a certain weight requirement, haha not that she cared...I payed the 8 bucks and my g2 B16 LS tipped at exactly 2300.

Type r's have 80lbs. less than GSR's, might not sound like much because of the R having less junk in it, but remember that with less comfort, comes <U></U> more in structural strengthening weight....
